HARGEISA \u2013 The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro), has expressed deep sorrow following the death of former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga.<\/p>\n
In an official statement, President Cirro extended his heartfelt condolences to the Odinga family, the people, and the government of the Republic of Kenya. He described the late leader as a “courageous and resilient figure” and a “cherished friend” to Somaliland.<\/p>\n
President Cirro eulogized Odinga as a tenacious hero and a champion of justice, democratic expression, and African unity. He emphasized Odinga’s influential role not only in Kenya but also across the Horn of Africa and the continent as a whole.<\/p>\n
