Dodoma (Sahan Post): The inauguration ceremony for Tanzania’s re-elected President, Samia Suluhu Hassan, is currently taking place in the city of Dodoma.
The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, attended the event today in the Tanzanian capital, Dodoma, alongside other regional leaders who were invited to the ceremony.
President Hassan Sheikh expressed the importance of the strong bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries. He wished the re-elected President success in focusing on the implementation of key national, regional, and continental agendas.
The Tanzanian election has been marred by significant controversy, with hundreds injured and others reported dead in the aftermath of the voting process.
