Bosaso (Sahan Post):- A funeral was held today in Bosaso for Abdisalaan Mustafe Abdullahi, a member of the Puntland Darawiish forces, who was killed in the Calmiskaad operation.
Major Abdisalaan died yesterday from injuries sustained in a landmine explosion that targeted a military vehicle on the new road between Bosaso and Dhaadar, an attack that also resulted in the deaths of several other soldiers.
Abdisalaan was the commander of the 21st unit of the Puntland Darawiish forces, which was originally based in the Buraan district of the Hayland region.
The funeral, held in Bosaso, was attended by various officials and military personnel from the Puntland government.
