Mogadishu (Sahan Post):- The Federal Government of Somalia has issued a statement regarding the recent situation at Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu, which temporarily disrupted airport operations due to a workers’ strike.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, the government successfully resolved the grievances raised by airport staff, allowing them to resume their duties and restore normal operations at the airport.
The statement further noted that the company managing the airport, Favori LLC, has been officially cautioned and instructed to ensure that similar labor-related issues do not recur in the future.
Additionally, the ministry directed Favori to take immediate action to address the specific concerns raised by the employees and to implement necessary improvements to prevent future disruptions.
