Badhan (Sahan Post) – A delegation led by the Acting Accountant General of Puntland, Mr. Ali Jama Gaashaan, recently conducted a work inspection at the Ministry of Finance office in Badhan, located in the Sanaag Region.
Upon arrival, Mr. Gaashaan was welcomed by the Accountant of the Ministry of Finance for the Sanaag and Haylaan regions, Deputy Accountant of the Sanaag Region, Mr. Ali Ahmed, and other officials from the Ministry of Finance.
During the meeting at the Ministry’s office, discussions focused on the modernization of the accounting systems for 2026, as well as efforts to accelerate revenue generation.
In a separate note, Mr. Ali Jama Gaashaan, the Deputy Accountant General of Puntland, commended the progress made in the construction of the Ceel-Daahir-Ceeraabo road project, which is being implemented by the Puntland Government. He also highlighted the significant contributions of Puntland’s citizens through taxes collected to support such developmental projects.
